COMMUNITY OUTREACH

DEON acknowledges the deep and complex history of New Jersey, honoring the Lenape people as the original stewards of the land. Additionally, we pay respect to the African Americans who endured enslavement and their descendants who fought for freedom. We recognize the ongoing inequities faced today by Indigenous and Black / African American communities.
DEON also acknowledges the contributions of diverse communities and immigrant groups to this countries development. DEON is committed to reconciliation, equity, and inclusion, guided by the legacy of those who came before us.
